My name is John Sears. I lead data science and analytics teams at KeepTruckin.
Prior to KT, I did data science and AI research for Uber and the Philadelphia 76ers. I’ve also consulted for the Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons. Before that, I spent a couple years at Stanford, mostly TA’ing intro econ and starting up the Sports Analytics Club. And finally, before grad school I spent three years at the Federal Reserve Board doing financial derivatives modeling during the financial crisis.
